How Do Student Loans Affect A Mortgage Applicaton?
submitted by change 247 days ago (via studentloan.ispace.in.th)
I have $60,000 in various student loans, but since consolidating my combined payment is only $300/month. I have no other debt. Do lenders view student loan debt differently due to the flexibility of the loans? Also, would they look more at the total amount of the debt or the monthly payment when determining the rate and loan amount?

Last year, the federal government estimated that over 2,000 banks will fail in America this year. If that happens, over 2 million college students will be unable to get student loans, and about 15% of all small businesses in America will go bankrupt. Your thoughts?

How Can I Get A Lower Interest Rate On My Graduate Student Loans?
submitted by change 242 days ago (via studentloan.ispace.in.th)
I have about $25,000 in graduate student loans and this includes accrued interest. I have stafford subsidized and unsubsidized federal loans, all through Wells Fargo. The interest rate is 6.25%. Can I sell it to someone else for a lower interest rate? Or is this the best I'll get? I know of people having a 2% interest rate. Also, I have a little credit card debt as well, about 5,000. Can I include

Are There Any Grants To Repay Student Loans, And If So How Do I Locate Such Loan
submitted by change 241 days ago (via studentloan.ispace.in.th)
I am not aware of grants to repay student loans. Some companies, as an incentive, will offer to repay part of your student loan, but only for skills that are very hard to find. You can get grants from the federal government, such as Pell Grants, to attend school, but not to repay student loans.

Is It Better To Pay Off Student Loans Quickly?
submitted by change 241 days ago (via studentloan.ispace.in.th)
I'm graduating this June and I'm going to have about 30,000 canadian in student loans. I want to pay off my loans as quickly as I can even if it means sharing a room with someone. I'm planning to take at least 50% of my pay check to go into loans. So maybe around 900 a month, which allows me to pay off my loans in about 3 years. I'm normally a saver anyway and I can live cheaply. I would have just
